Back to business - Mary's comeback in Likoni
Mary lost a freezer and scales to a long illness and repossession and needs $650 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Likoni. In July, a long illness and repossession took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $360
• Initial stock: the first catch: $110
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $125
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
