Back to business - Márcia's comeback in Campinas
A laundry service in Campinas needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after the demolition of the market.
Anywhere in the world650 views
For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Campinas. In November, the demolition of the market took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $750 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $240
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $405
Thank you so much.

Rooting for you. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best
Hang in there, Márcia. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Santos donated after I showed her your page. Love from Santos
