Back to business - Liton's comeback in Dwarka
A fish stall in Dwarka needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a break-in.
🇮🇳 India833 views
For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Dwarka. In June, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $460
• Initial stock: the first catch: $50
• Shop repairs and licensing: $30
• Working capital for the first month: $60
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Dwarka.
