Back to business - Lesego's comeback in Sandton
A flower stall in Sandton needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after a fire in the building.

For three years I have run a flower stall in Sandton. In September, a fire in the building took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $530
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $190
• Shop repairs and licensing: $175
• Working capital for the first month: $155
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thank you all. We're at 8% now ($89). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing.

Thinking of you and your family, Lesego. Hope you make a strong comeback. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Lesego?
Thank you. If you're in Sandton I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 10 people at work. Thinking of Sandton.
Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. After 28 years in retail I know how hard it is to ask for anything
Hang in there, Lesego. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Jakarta Barat.
