Back to business - Leandro's comeback in Londrina
Leandro lost two washing machines and a dryer to floodwater and needs $1,100 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Londrina. In May, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $520
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $195
• Shop repairs and licensing: $195
• Working capital for the first month: $190
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family, Leandro. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Kanpur donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
