Back to business - Kyung-mi's comeback in San Diego
A neighborhood bakery in San Diego needs help replacing a commercial oven after a fire in the building.

For fifteen years I have run a neighborhood bakery in San Diego. In June, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $4,550 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $3,550
• Shop repairs and licensing: $280
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $720
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out, Kyung-mi. Hope you make a strong comeback
You're not alone. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings
