Back to business - Krzysztof's comeback in Wrocław
A neighborhood bakery in Wrocław needs help replacing a commercial oven after a fire in the building.

For twelve years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Wrocław. In February, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $1,200
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $360
• Shop repairs and licensing: $220
• Working capital for the first month: $270
Thanks for reading all this.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Krzysztof?
Thank you. If you're in Wrocław I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.
Thanks for sharing this, Krzysztof. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Wrocław.
Praying for you. Hope this works out for you. I hope May is when things finally get easier.
sending love, Krzysztof. Hope this works out for you. God bless.
rooting for you, Krzysztof. This could happen to any of us. Take care.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Krzysztof.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing a commercial oven comes first ($1,200) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
thanks for sharing this, Krzysztof. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Thane
You're not alone, Krzysztof. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Hope things get better soon. Hope the shop reopens soon!
take care. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from São Paulo.
Thinking of you. Hope the shop reopens soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Stay strong. Hope you make a strong comeback. Thinking of Wrocław.
