Back to business - Kirill's comeback in Brescia
A sewing studio in Brescia needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after floodwater.
🇮🇹 Italy2,008 views
For nine years I have run a sewing studio in Brescia. In August, floodwater took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric: $560
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $800
• Shop repairs and licensing: $440
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Best of luck. Hope the shop reopens soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Hang in there, Kirill. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family. Small businesses are the heart of Brescia. Hope you're open again soon. God bless
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Kirill.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. initial stock: fabric comes first ($560) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
sending strength, Kirill. Hope this works out for you.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Mumbai donated after I showed her your page.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Brescia
