Back to business - Jules's comeback in Marseille
A flower stall in Marseille needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after a long illness and repossession.
🇫🇷 Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France346 views
For twelve years I have run a flower stall in Marseille. In May, a long illness and repossession took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $1,750
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $430
• Shop repairs and licensing: $560
• Working capital for the first month: $410
I hope life is good to you.
- Jules

praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
You're not alone, Jules. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best
You're not alone, Jules. Small businesses are the heart of Marseille. Hope you're open again soon.
best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours.
Best of luck, Jules. Hope the shop reopens soon. Wish I lived closer to Cầu Giấy so I could bring a meal. All the best
