Back to business - José's comeback in Ribeirão Preto
A neighborhood bakery in Ribeirão Preto needs help replacing a commercial oven after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Ribeirão Preto. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $310
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $130
• Shop repairs and licensing: $175
• Working capital for the first month: $85
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
Updates from José
Thank you all. We're at 28% now ($198). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month.

Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
You're not alone, José. Shared it with a few friends. Please keep us posted. God bless.
Best of luck, José. Hope the shop reopens soon. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Sacramento
Best of luck, José. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Los Angeles.
