Back to business - Jose's comeback in Birmingham
A laundry service in Birmingham needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a break-in.

For nine years I have run a laundry service in Birmingham. In May, a break-in took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $1,600
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $310
• Shop repairs and licensing: $500
• Working capital for the first month: $490
Thank you so much.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jose
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing two washing machines and a dryer comes first ($1,600) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
Hang in there, Jose. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
