Fort Worth
For six years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Fort Worth. In May, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $3,800 goes: • Replacing a full set of tools: $2,300 • Initial stock: spare parts: $500 • Shop repairs and licensing: $210 • Working capital for the first month: $790 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Isaiah

Looking forward to the next update. After 8 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Fort Worth

Take care, Isaiah. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Obuasi
