Back to business - Ines's comeback in Cairo
Ines lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to the demolition of the market and needs $600 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For six years I have run a barbershop in Cairo. In August, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $95
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $460
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Madrid donated after I showed her your page.
Hope things get better soon, Ines. Hope the shop reopens soon. God bless.
you're not alone, Ines. It takes guts to ask. Well done
