Back to business - Ife's comeback in Badagry
Ife has run a fish stall for fifteen years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $250 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Badagry. In January, a long illness and repossession took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $90
• Shop repairs and licensing: $90
• Initial stock: the first catch: $70
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Rooting for you, Ife. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Hope the shop reopens soon. Please keep us posted. Love from London.
You're not alone, Ife. Shared it with a few friends.
