Back to business - Harish's comeback in Mumbai
Harish lost a gas stove and two refrigerators to a break-in and needs $700 to reopen a street-food cart and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Mumbai. In July, a break-in took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $370
• Initial stock: ingredients: $120
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Working capital for the first month: $125
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Take care, Harish. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Harish. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. All the best
Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My husband and I read this together. Love from Rosario.
Good luck, Harish. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Take care.
