Kota

For four years I have run a roadside café in Kota. In December, a break-in took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $200 goes: • Working capital for the first month: $95 • Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $40 • Shop repairs and licensing: $65 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Updates from Harini

Thank you all. We're at 124% now ($248). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($233 in total) I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Kota: I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. We're at 70% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
