Back to business - Hao's comeback in London
A sewing studio in London needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after a break-in.
🇨🇦 Canada1,507 views
For twelve years I have run a sewing studio in London. In August, a break-in took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric: $450
• Shop repairs and licensing: $560
• Working capital for the first month: $440
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you the best. Hope the shop reopens soon. Thinking of London
Good luck, Hao. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings
Small businesses are the heart of London. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Sending love, Hao. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Jaipur donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
