Back to business - Halima's comeback in Ikeja
Halima has run a bicycle repair shop for four years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Ikeja. In June, the demolition of the market took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $230
• Initial stock: spare parts: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $25
• Working capital for the first month: $100
With deep gratitude,
Halima

hope things get better soon, Halima. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best
Hope things get better soon, Halima. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Guadalajara so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Ikeja
