Back to business - Giorgia's comeback in Salerno
Giorgia lost a cutting table and overlocker to floodwater and needs $2,300 to reopen a sewing studio and support the family.

For three years I have run a sewing studio in Salerno. In July, floodwater took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric: $370
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $1,600
• Working capital for the first month: $330
With deep gratitude,
Giorgia

Hang in there, Giorgia. Shared it with a few friends. Take care
is initial stock: fabric the biggest cost or is there more coming?
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. initial stock: fabric is the biggest at $370. Fair thing to want to know.
Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Sandton
hope things get better soon, Giorgia. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Shubra but we're thinking of you. Take care
