Back to business - Eunice's comeback in Nairobi
A fish stall in Nairobi needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a fire in the building.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya659 views
For three years I have run a fish stall in Nairobi. In May, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $290
• Initial stock: the first catch: $115
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $85
Every share and every dollar helps.

Thanks for sharing this, Eunice. Hope this works out for you. Blessings
Thanks for sharing this, Eunice. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Nairobi.
