Back to business - Esteban's comeback in Springfield
A sewing studio in Springfield needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after floodwater.
Anywhere in the world3,335 views
For nine years I have run a sewing studio in Springfield. In July, floodwater took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $620
• Initial stock: fabric: $870
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $1,810
Thank you so much.

Hope the shop reopens soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Portland
Sending good thoughts, Esteban. I hope things turn around soon.
Best of luck, Esteban. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Springfield.
Rooting for you. Hope you make a strong comeback. Take care.
Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
