Back to business - Elsa's comeback in Ubud
Elsa lost an espresso machine and grinder to the demolition of the market and needs $550 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For three years I have run a roadside café in Ubud. In August, the demolition of the market took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $270
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $75
• Shop repairs and licensing: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $95
Thank you for reading my story.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Ubud
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about replacing an espresso machine and grinder, advice is welcome too. It helps to be asked.
wishing you peace, Elsa. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Ubud
