Back to business - Elena's comeback in Gold Coast

Elena has run a bicycle repair shop for nine years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $2,700 will put it back on its feet.

Gold Coast
For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Gold Coast. In September, the demolition of the market took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $2,700 goes: • Replacing a full set of tools: $1,200 • Initial stock: spare parts: $630 • Shop repairs and licensing: $220 • Working capital for the first month: $650 If you're reading this, thank you.
