Back to business - Dũng's comeback in Chandler
Dũng has run a neighborhood bakery for nine years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $3,700 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Chandler. In June, a long illness and repossession took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $460
• Replacing a commercial oven: $2,350
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $890
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. After 22 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Bekasi.
Praying for you, Dũng. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Pretoria.
Hope you get there. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
