Back to business - Citlali's comeback in Denver
A laundry service in Denver needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For six years I have run a laundry service in Denver. In June, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $770
• Working capital for the first month: $700
• Shop repairs and licensing: $380
Thanks for reading all this.

Wishing you the best. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 21 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Ahmedabad!
