Back to business - Camila's comeback in Columbus
Camila has run a phone repair counter for fifteen years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $4,250 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a phone repair counter in Columbus. In August, a long illness and repossession took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $3,200
• Shop repairs and licensing: $280
• Working capital for the first month: $770
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there, Camila. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
