Back to business - Arthur's comeback in Surrey
Arthur lost two washing machines and a dryer to a fire in the building and needs $3,500 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Surrey. In February, a fire in the building took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $2,750
• Shop repairs and licensing: $410
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $340
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
