Back to business - Amaka's comeback in Warri
Amaka lost a full set of tools to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $500 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Warri. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $230
• Initial stock: spare parts: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $105
Every share and every dollar helps.
