Back to business - Alyssa's comeback in Dayton
A laundry service in Dayton needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Dayton. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $1,050
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $360
• Shop repairs and licensing: $240
• Working capital for the first month: $550
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rooting for you, Alyssa. Hope you make a strong comeback. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
Praying for you, Alyssa. Looking forward to the next update!
