Back to business - Aisha's comeback in Arusha
A laundry service in Arusha needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after floodwater.
🇹🇿 Tanzania1,075 views
For six years I have run a laundry service in Arusha. In September, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $75
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $355
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope you get there. We're a small family in Parramatta but we're thinking of you.
Wishing you peace, Aisha. This could happen to any of us. All the best.
Thinking of you, Aisha. Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
