Depok
After burnout at work, Ayu has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to a structured recovery program, but the public waiting list is 6 months, and private sessions at the Depok Counselling Collective cost $10 each. Ayu has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Ayu could afford. The therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Ayu, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $300 goes: • 24 therapy sessions: $240 • Psychiatric assessment: $40 • Workbook and resources: $20 Thanks for reading all this.

Updates from Irma

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($80 in total) I met with the practice and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Update from Depok: we've started the first stage. We're at 17% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
