Narayanganj
Ayesha was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September. The oncology team at the Narayanganj Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Ayesha is 41, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Narayanganj Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,150 goes: • Scans and lab work: $80 • Transport to the Narayanganj Oncology Institute: $160 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $680 • Household costs while unable to work: $230 Thanks for reading all this. - Rafiq
