Ayanda's prostate cancer treatment fund

Ayanda was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at Polokwane University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Ayanda is 30, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Polokwane University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,500
• Scans and lab work: $370
• Transport to Polokwane University Hospital: $210
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $240
• Household costs while unable to work: $380

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the biggest at $1,500. Let me know if you want more detail.
