Atieno's final semester of an agriculture degree in Nakuru
Atieno has worked and saved for five years to study an agriculture degree; a $950 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Atieno is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Nakuru University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950.
The registrar has said Atieno can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Atieno has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Atieno would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Atieno isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Nakuru University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $950 goes:
• Final term tuition: $500
• Outstanding tuition balance: $380
• Exam and lab fees: $70
With deep gratitude,

Shared this with my family. After 12 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Take care, Namukasa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless.
