Asher's septoplasty can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled septoplasty in October is out of reach without help covering $6,650 of the cost.

In July I was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair. My surgeon at Leeds General Hospital recommended septoplasty, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $11,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $6,650 short.
Doctors at Leeds General Hospital told me a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without septoplasty. I work as a retail assistant, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $11,000 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a retail assistant have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. I'll not be able to lift anything heavy during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
