Asher received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A sudden layoff left Asher short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When the call centre closed in August, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $1,850
• Late fees and court costs: $145
• Utilities in arrears: $270
• First month of rent as a buffer: $585
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Hope it all works out, Asher. Hope this works out for you.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Marseille.
Praying for you, Asher. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Gazipur.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Faisalabad donated after I showed her your page.
