Asad's laparoscopic cyst removal can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After osteoarthritis in the right knee, Asad was cleared for laparoscopic cyst removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Asad was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in January. The surgeon at Peshawar General Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,150, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $700 short.
my son has been in and out of Peshawar General Hospital since January. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Asad struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Asad won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $700 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $200
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $280
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $40
• Post-operative medication: $35
• Physiotherapy sessions: $80
• Travel and lodging for the family: $65

you're not alone, Bisma. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Manchester this morning
Thanks for sharing this, Bisma. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We're a small family in Ballarat but we're thinking of you!
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
