Arjun needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Birmingham
Without my school-run minibus Arjun can't work; a $1,000 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 4 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $420
• Labor charges: $270
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• Towing and inspection: $50

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Arjun.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rear axle replacement (parts) comes first ($420) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
