Arief is a single parent of a toddler and a seven-year-old - help us after a divorce
Arief and a toddler and a seven-year-old need a bridge to stability after a divorce.

After a divorce in August, I'm now raising a toddler and a seven-year-old on my own. I work as a driver, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a web developer in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $450 goes:
• Course fees and exam costs: $100
• Childcare and after-school care: $220
• Groceries and school meals: $130
Thank you for reading my story.

Updates from Arief
Wanted to say thank you properly. 47% funded and I made the first payment toward childcare and after-school care.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($126 in total) the plan for childcare and after-school care is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Wishing you the best, Arief. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
how is Arief doing now?
Sending strength, Arief. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this, Arief. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Blessings.
Thinking of you, Arief. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't give up.
