Ariana was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in February. The surgeon at El Paso General Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,750, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $2,800 short.
my wife has been in and out of El Paso General Hospital since February. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ariana struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Ariana won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
