Arda's final semester of an electrical engineering diploma in Ankara
Arda has worked and saved for five years to study an electrical engineering diploma; a $1,250 gap now stands between him and graduation.
🇹🇷 Ankara, Ankara, TürkiyePosted Oct 1, 20261,002 views
Arda is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Ankara University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,250.
The registrar has said Arda can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Arda has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Arda would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Arda isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Ankara University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $430
• Final term tuition: $660
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $115
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Take care, Elif. Shared this with my family. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
