Araceli's final semester of a teaching qualification in Mexicali

Araceli is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Mexicali State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,050. The registrar has said Araceli can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Araceli has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Araceli would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Araceli isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Mexicali State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,050 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $45 • Final term tuition: $620 • Outstanding tuition balance: $385 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
