Frankfurt
Anton was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Frankfurt Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Anton is 25, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Frankfurt Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $6,800 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,500 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $290 • Household costs while unable to work: $2,010 If you're reading this, thank you. - Andreas

Updates from Andreas

  1. Quick update: $1,641 raised so far (24%). I made the first payment toward chemotherapy and medication not covered. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. We're at 13% thanks to 26 of you. the plan for nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team is now scheduled. More news soon.
