Ankit's a partial thyroidectomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a large ovarian cyst, Ankit was cleared for a partial thyroidectomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Ankit was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in July. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $250 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since July. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ankit struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Ankit won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $250 goes:
• Physiotherapy sessions: $75
• Travel and lodging for the family: $55
• Post-operative medication: $75
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $45
