Anita's stomach cancer treatment fund
Anita is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Anita was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January. The oncology team at the Ahmedabad Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Anita is 38, worked as a farmer until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Ahmedabad Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $550 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $90
• Transport to the Ahmedabad Oncology Institute: $65
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Household costs while unable to work: $330
