Anita's hip replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in June is out of reach without help covering $500 of the cost.

Anita was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in February. The surgeon at Lalitpur Regional Medical Center recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $710, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $500 short.
my mother has been in and out of Lalitpur Regional Medical Center since February. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $710 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Anita struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Anita won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
