Angela needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system will not fund; the cost is $6,700.

Angela lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Jacksonville Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,700.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Angela could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• First-year servicing plan: $200
• stair-climbing aid: $6,250
• Fitting and training sessions: $250
