Andrew needs a communication tablet with eye tracking - help us make it happen
Andrew needs a communication tablet with eye tracking that the health system won't fund; the cost is $7,050.

Andrew lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Los Angeles Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,050.
His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Andrew could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $7,050 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $55
• Fitting and training sessions: $240
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $6,755

It takes guts to ask. Well done. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Campinas.
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Sent it to 25 people at work.
