Andreas needs an adapted tricycle - help us make it happen
Andreas needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $5,850.

Andreas lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Essen General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,850.
His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Andreas could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $5,850 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $5,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $105
• Delivery and set-up: $80
• First-year servicing plan: $165
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
