Andrea's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled valve repair surgery in February is out of reach without help covering $1,000 of the cost.

Andrea was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in December. The surgeon at Monterrey University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,250, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my mother has been in and out of Monterrey University Hospital since December. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Andrea struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Andrea won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $130
• Physiotherapy sessions: $270
• Post-operative medication: $55
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $545
